All seasons Raja Ampat liveaboard diving
The Shatki has been permanently based in Raja Ampat since 2002. Most boats only spent half a year each year in West Papua but Shakti has all year round experience and they are still discovering exciting new dive sites.
Shakti caters to small charter groups of divers, snorkelers and free divers.
You can join a Shakti trip from Sarong from March to early July or from September to January.

There are four double bed cabins on the lower deck which also have an extra single bed.
There are two single cabins on the upper deck.
There are three shared bathrooms plus an extra outdoor shower.
All cabins have individually controlled AC and 24 hour electricity (220v European 2 pole plug).
Shakti liveaboard diving
There are normally 3 day dives and 1 night dive. There are no dives on arrival and departure days.
Diver to guide ratio is never more than 5 to 1.
All diving is done from the two aluminium tenders. The crew take care of carrying all gear to the tenders.
The dive deck is in the bow and there is lots of space. Each diver has his own equipment station with storage. Tanks are filled on the Shakti, dive gear remains on the tanks for the duration of the cruise.
Breakfast is continental with fresh baked bread and your choice of eggs.
Lunch and dinner are a mix of Indonesian and International cuisine freshly prepared with local ingredients.
Fruit snacks, cookies, nuts are served every day.
All dietary preferences can be catered for with advance notice.
Meals are served in the saloon.

Accommodation in a double-bed or twin-bed cabin.
Three daily dives plus some night dives according to the itinerary. All the dives are subject to weather conditions and transit time. There is no diving on the days of arrival and departure.

Shakti liveaboard itinerary
All Shakti liveaboard trips start and finish in Sorong, Papua Barat province, Indonesia.
To get to Sorong, the main routes are:
1) Singapore – Manado – Sorong
2) Bali – Ujung Pandang (Makassar) – Sorong
3) Jakarta – Ujung Pandang (Makassar) – Sorong
4) Kuala Lumpur – Manado – Sorong
5) Kuala Lumpur – Ujung Pandang (Makassar) – Sorong
All foreigners visiting Indonesia are required to have a visa. The cost and validity of the visa depends on your nationality, please check in advance. There is no special visa required for Papua Barat.
Generally, visas on arrival are issued for 30 days (US$25) and are not extendable.
